Getting my 4 year old dressed in the morning is like cutting my kids hair.
Yes my son FINALLY got dressed at 1:20 pm. no joke. I didn't really nag him, just mentioned it once in a while, really, just waiting to see when he would decide to get dressed. I didn't mind all that much seeing as we weren't going anywhere. But still. 1:20pm
... really
You may ask why?
Why like cutting my kids hair??
Well, I ask WHY?
If someone were to hear the screams and cries coming from the bathroom yesterday, one might assume that something frightful were going on in my house. No just cutting my 4 year olds hair, that's all.
And today.
More whining and crying from another child of mine. My 9 year old decided to whine and whine and whine. Why?
Well, apparently he doesn't enjoy getting his hair cut by mother like the other son of mine, but as an added bonus he thoroughly dislikes... HAIR ON HIS FEET.
He was crying over the hair that fell on his feet.

I cut my little man's hair too and we have many of the same issues. However, I just cut his hair 3 days ago and I used a disposable rain poncho, the kind you find in the camping section. I plopped him down in front of the TV and proceeded to cut. He did really well b/c when he sat pretzel style, the poncho totally covered him. I did use a clip to make it snug around his neck. Afterward I just vacuumed up. He gets so antsy in the bathroom and this really worked.
