But once in a while I'm able to show what we do over here at LivesWeAreGiven.
Moments with Alba - 32 months
Prepare yourself for photo overload!
Zazu teaching some math to Alba
A little Youtube fun
We have yet to complete this puzzle, because she tires of it before it's completion every time. She gets about 8 pieces in and "all done".
I have this cool Melissa & Doug Create-a-Face Pad. The picture is poor and Alba colours with such a light hand with crayons that you just can't see a thing.
"happy face, square, rectangle, oval, triangle"
We're playing Montessori Brown Stair & Pink Tower ipad App while cooking supper.
Making our Atmosphere Muffins.
photo opportunity while waiting...
Alligator!
Elephant!
See her trunk?
The poor elephant is being eaten... "oh no".
We took the hand puppet stickers and made a picture.
I cut green & blue paper for grass and water hole.
Alba's first "SUN" in the corner.
LOVE, LOVE this book!
Full of stickers, cutting, glueing, origami type activities, acting...
Every page kept her wanting more.
*Above and below photos
Here she is pretending to be an "ant", from the Let's Make and Learn book.
She finished the last ten or so activities in two days.
I told her we should save them for another day, but she insisted.
Now that the book is finished Alba asks me to "do more", but it's all done.
Even as I'm typing this she's asking to "do that Mom please?"
(Bought this a year ago from Coles, sorry can't find it online)
Kumon books are great too and we have a couple of those.
She can count the berries on the cupcake cards, but at this point only knowing numbers 1...2...3 are leading to a little frustration for her. I'll take it out in another few weeks to play with her.
More photos from
Pre-writing tracing practice. She loves this stuff....
Her enthusiasm is great, the boys were not "happy" to do this stuff.
I was shocked that she wanted to trace the whole word "alligator". I can tell from this week of activities, she's going to be one of those kids who wants to write, draw and do things her brothers don't enjoy. Ah, she's a girl I guess.
Alba loved announcing, "Letter A, Letter A... Big A, Little A"
Letter B is ready to go for next week.
Working on our Baby Animals four piece puzzle book.
I just wanted to throw in a couple shots of my creativity with Alba's hair.
She enjoys getting her hair done. It's fun!
