Alba is 15 months.
Alba enjoys our lacing beads and buttons. Sometimes a little too much, especially when they go into her mouth. I purposely put her sucky in her mouth so she wouldn't ingest any beads. She enjoyed transferring the beads into the red bin. While my newly five year old boy liked to use the laces as whips.
I tell ya, those boys!
I left out a farm puzzle this week, you can see a few of the pieces on the floor in the first picture. It looks as though she would like to put the pieces in but gets frustrated and gives up. Alba toted around the giraffe from our Melissa & Doug Safari Puzzle. It's interesting how quickly children seem to pick up on things. Now, if I were to put the puzzle away for a month it would be neat to see how her first reactions would be different than the last. Or how much longer she might work on it until wanting to leave the puzzle.
Potty Potty Potty
With a book in hand Alba does poops on the potty. I have to catch her right before she goes in her diaper. We've had success most days out of the week. I bought this BABYBJĂ–RN potty this week. I love how easy it is to clean.
She's really got a handle on lifting the flaps in books. Her current favorite is a lift the flap and sound, On the Farm - Fisher Price board book. This book is in great condition for going through all three kids, especially two boys. You know how most of them are with books.
I so wish my son was ready to potty train.
ReplyDeleteThat is so good about the potty! Buttons and lacing beads are always the favorite here too. Kerri
ReplyDeleteMy son is close to Alba's age. We tot school here http://theadventuresofbear.blogspot.com/2010/10/tot-school_27.html
ReplyDeleteHe also sometimes goes poop in the potty. His sister was out of diapers at 13 months. He will go for me in the potty one week, then the next he won't. Wish it were easier.
