The question I posed to myself. Organizing is one thing.... but how do you decide to put 3 boys with that age range together?
My situation is: a tiny house with 3 bedrooms.
I have a 10 yr boy, 4 yr boy and a 6 month girl. My husband insists that our boys shouldn't share a room because of age gap. I just can't seem to understand that logic. I was and will never be male so I'm a little at a loss as to WHY my husband thinks the way he does. He would also like our daughter to share with our 4 yr boy.
???? Talk about age gap being an issue, let's try gender gap on for size.
Now if space was the main reason for putting their 3 boys together, then I totally dig that.
I am in that boat. Space is my issue.
My loving husband says that the 3 kids will have each their own room in 2-3 years (he's betting on us buying a bigger home), which solves the sharing issue along with the age and gender problems.
My husband has got this figured out. Fine. I'm ok with that. I just need to know:
Why shouldn't our boys share a room?
Really?
Hi Mama Bear,
ReplyDeleteMy two older sisters, and one younger sisters and I all shared one bedroom. It was cramped, and our age range was 8 years. You do what you have to, given the space available. Best to stick with same gender.
I'm excited to see God blessing your family!
